Antimicrobial resistance is a global disaster that resulted in banning antibiotics in livestock feed. Australian farmers are adjusting by replacing the antibiotics with alternative products with no research is done on their effects on AMR. We are trying to fill the gap in knowledge by investigating their influence on farm resistome and transcriptional changes they induce in birds.
